The British Association for the Study of Spirituality, based at the University of Hull, held its First International Conference in early May 2010. The event was fully subscribed with delegates from 11 countries represented. The spread of interest in spirituality continues to grow, with delegates from the social science, academic scholars in theology and religious studies, PhD students from different disciplines researching spirituality and practitioners from many of the caring professions; nursing, sociaol work, psychotherapy and counselling, youth work, the clergy, all levels of education and those exploring spirituality-at-work. Keynote addresses and papers will be loaded onto their website in due course.
